Missouri Auto Insurance Requirements
Missouri law requires every driver to carry at least:
• $25,000 bodily injury liability per person
• $50,000 bodily injury liability per accident
• $25,000 property damage liability
• Uninsured motorist coverage of $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident
These are only minimums. A serious accident can easily exceed them, leaving you personally responsible for the rest. We usually recommend higher limits for homeowners and anyone with savings to protect.
